    After about 4 months, I find out that my STBX cheated on me.

    If you've been cheated on, I fully understand the desire to take it all back. But if that happens, there will be no trust, the intimacy has already been destroyed, and unless the betrayal was a unicorn event that could never happen again... it will probably happen again.
