Inspire Me Monday #143

Happy Eclipse Day!  We are pumped up about it around here!  Our kids have school and our district has purchased glasses for everyone so they are really excited about being able to watch it!  Our youngest is in kindergarten so my husband and I are going to go up and help make sure the 5 year olds on Day 7 of the school year keep their glasses on their little faces ;)  I hope you are able to enjoy it in person or view coverage of it!

Inspire Me Monday #142

Well, we survived our first 2 days of school last week!  We walked our kindergartener into class and after about a minute she told us, "ok, I'm in my room now, you can leave."  And when she got home she excitedly told me, "Guess what?! I didn't even miss you!"  I guess you can say she has transitioned well!  I keep telling myself that means that she had a great time and was too happy to be sad and miss us.  So we are now ready for our first full week, and hoping it goes as smoothly as the first 2 days did!

Happy Monday!  The week has finally arrived in our house.  The kids go back to school on Thursday.  It's bitter sweet for sure.  They are in desperate need of some routine (and I am in desperate need for them to have some routine!) but I will miss the lower key schedule of the summer-especially mornings!  We have had a busy summer and it has just flown by this year!
