Thoughts from a Fire Wife on September 11th

Can you believe it has already been another year since we last remembered this day?  I sure can't.  Each year the time seems to go faster and faster.  I wrote a post last year on my thoughts on this day from a Fire Wife's perspective.  You can find it just by clicking here.

Here are a few images to remind us of the sacrifice these heroes made on that day...

Thank you to all of our brave men and women who are out protecting us every day!

And of course, I can not go without mentioning the thousands of innocent victims that were lost on that day as well.

I hope that today you will spend some time remembering all of these families, as well as spending some special time with your own family.  Have a blessed day!

  1. It is a very sad day to remember.............and you are right it is a very necessary thing to remember.
and we also need to remember to add some Thanksgiving for all those who helped save lives and
clean up all that horror, and prayers for future safety, that we might never see another horrific event
like that ever again. Blessings, Nellie

    1. Absolutely! Wonderful thoughts, Nellie! Thanks for sharing!
